Affirmations
In his book Affirmations for Self-Healing, (Crystal Clarity Publishers) Swami Kriyananda writes "Words, which are crystallised thoughts, have immeasurable power, especially when we speak them with concentration." Another of my teachers, Dr Bruce Dewe, said "We are what we put in our mouths and what we put in our minds!"
It can be beneficial to incorporate the idea of movement or direction of change in your affirmation. It is, of course, a good idea to make affirmations from a place of awareness and concentration. Purposeful movement like marching on-the-spot whilst making your affirmation can help to embody the affirmation.
